In addition to my search for a wide angle adapter, I'm also in the market for a mattebox, I'm going to need to use some graduated ND filters in the winter and spring. So far the boxes I've looked at are not wide enough when the '250 is zoomed out.
I know I want 2 filter slots and french flag. I know I do not want rails, so it would have to be a clamp on.
I don't need side flags, but it would be a plus to have that option in the future, and a max width of 10" so it can fit in my bag while on the camera.
Sorry for all the questions, but looks like this camera will replace 2 of my other ones, so I'm trying to equip it over the winter.

You may want to check out CAVISION I used their clip on mattebox for years on my PD 170, It held up great over the years on many overseas trips. I do not have a HPX 250 yet so I do not know if it will work but worth checking out.
