I'm having a bit of trouble removing (or unlocking) a Canon FD S.S.C. lens from the mount. This particular lens is not the "newer" FD glass, it is the older model with the chrome metal bayonet ring. Metal construction lens, not plastic. For some reason the lens seems to be stuck and I've never had this problem before but then again this is the only Canon FD I own with a bayonet ring, so I'm assuming the lens is not simply "stuck". Any help is truly appreciated. Thanks in advanced.-B

To be clear I might be mistaken, however, I'm almost certain the focus ring must be turned all the way to infinity focus in order for the chrome bayonet ring to release itself. The lens should be turned counter clockwise to be unlocked. Am I wrong?
