"I think I can get something made in 30 days."

Heh ... most of mine are made in 2 days anyway. Though the Christmas season is always so busy as is, I don't know how it'll take off.

BUT I can't see that as a deterrent, as I remember one of the mods stating not too long ago, [sic] "Even if there are only two people that enter, we'll continue to have these fests."

Now this kind of theme is a stretch when you live in Florida. Winter? What's that? Hahahahahaha I guess one could make a movie about Santa sweatin his nads off during xmas.

Yup, don't need a reason to make a film around these parts. Just the good old community spirit. Naturally though, I hope a tiny-fest blossoms out somewhere along the thread.

I had planed to do something for the titled Scare Fest... but alas, like my new year's resolutions... they disappeared into the sands of time...

But I can always be ever hopeful, and see if I can make a contribution to this one... Though it won't be a snow laden christimas story...

Not everyone has snow so i don;t think anyone expects that. Winter means different things to different people and encompasses different holidays, regions times, events... it doesnt even have to be Christmas related, just something that takes that time of year and some kind of theme into account. I'd say include some vestige of one of the christmas holidays so it's themed appropriately, but snow? hell no.

Winter in Oklahoma means: wind that pierces through every article of clothing you wear. It may be 40 degrees outside, but the windchill makes it -15 with our "gusts." There's rarely snow here as well. I've never seen a white Christmas.
