I agree and with mine now well over two and a half years old I am still finding it useful and adaptable for most of my work.

I even had it out doing some DVCPro 50 SD for mediaset italia a few weeks ago and we were very happy with the pictures that we got: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66oTdtBrAxE

Gary, was that shot with a 371 or a 301? The YouTube video says it was a 371, aren't you talking about a 301 though?

I liked it too - the grading was really nice, and the colour tint looked very good here.

It was actually a 301, sorry for the confusion I just call all my camera's 371's these days as they are all set up the same regardless if they are a 301 or a 371.

Thank you so much paulears and dustylense for the kind words!
Gary i've seen your football footage! It looks GREAT! I really love DVCPRO50.It's the best SD codec that i've ever try!
Mediaset is a great company,i know that a lot of their spot are shoot with the 301...it's strange because in Itlay the 301 is considered a bad camera...but when people looks at its footage most of the time they don't say a word!
I've been really impressed by the 250,but the 301's colors are so much better according to me.
    Bests!
    Roberto
