    Cool
I was thinking it be really fun if we had categories for film awards like the Academy does on DVXuser. Best music, Best actor, Best cinematography, best screenplay, most creative, ect.
Not really winning anything physical, just mainly to recognize the skills put into these films. But still keep the top 3 winning film process (course one could call those best picture nominees) which would indeed receive prizes. Am I the only who thinks that'd be fun?

It has been brought up numerous times. Every other fest really. Maybe more.

Nope. Not the only one. I'd do a whole lot more sharing work if that happened. I miss competing. I live in a small town where competition is discouraged and chalked up to a bad attitude. Everyone's applauded for the effort. I like getting my work smashed over here even though I only put a couple of things up. A competition would be awesome. My god the buzz the winner would get. By buzz I mean a great feeling not marketing lingo. I'm totally for it.

Go for it, lead the way Jace.

I doubt there is going to be an actual system adopted for it, nor would a thread poll system really work.

But why not do it yourself and go through and give your vote for Best Actor, Best Cinematography, Best Screenplay...etc.

Anthony Todaro started a thread with his "Top 3" and others were quick to chime in with their top three picks. The same might happen here.

Oh geez :P Thats going to be hard to do seeing that there were so many good ones, I will have to watch all 22 of them before I do that. I will stick to only like 10 categories for best of. Will be fun to do though!

You don't think a simple thread poll would do the trick?
