As a reminder, this system is built, maintained and run by all volunteer staff. We give of our time freely to support and encourage you all to grow as filmmakers. So understand that there will be glitches along the way. We appreciate your understanding in this and thank you for bearing with us.

Based on past experience, the first couple days we see a lot of glitches. This is because we don't have a full scale CDN (content delivery network) like multi-million dollar companies would have. We rely on donated space/bandwidth as much as we rely on volunteer support. We do our best to give you the best experience possible, and try to improve each time we hold an event. We are not there, but we are getting there.

As these first few days see the largest number of people simultaneously attempting to get the films to watch, please understand the servers have their limits. I have a number of mirrors in place to help with the load requirement, but it still won't be perfect. In the first couple days if you have trouble downloading/viewing a particular entry, please let us know so we can check it is ok, but also try to re-acquire the film as a second attempt often yields a better result.

But if you run into any issues at all, please post them here. This will be the only place I will monitor for issues of any kind.

    Thanks
    Larry

I've tried all zip files downloads. I'm getting the "Internal Server Error" or "File 404 not found" on all of them...

Looks like one of the mirrors was causing some trouble, I've taken it offline until I can figure it out. Please try downloading again.

Well, as usual I had about a 15% success rate with the downloads and the zips. It really sucks when a movie downloads halfway, but will still play up until a climax in the film and then stop.... Grrrr.

BUT- The streaming worked really well for me. I loaded I few while watching others and was able to watch them all in no time with no playback issues. So almost 100% success rate there. The only drawback is having to load it again when I want to watch later. There's only a couple I would watch again anyway so no big deal.

Zip #2 downloads but says it is empty when opening. All other zips OK.
