Hello there!
Here's my newly finished reel.
The grand majority of it was shot with the HPX (also some 5D Mark II). I'd love some feedback if you'd be so kind!

First shot was the best. It caught my attention. I wish you had more stuff on here, though. Would love to see variety in different situations (lighting, time of day, etc.). Some good shots in here, but some seem to drag on. A few one-shots are nice, but I want to see rapid cuts. A director doesn’t have time to try to figure out what’s going on in the scene.
Overall, a solid reel that’s a stepping stone to Reel 2.0. Good job.
I see we have the same title for our reels here on this forum, here’s mine: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread...atography-Reel

I didn't like the dark scenes. With a camera like the HPX170, you need to really try hard to light the scene in a way that gives you clarity but at the same time looks like it hasn't been lit. In one part where the woman picked up the picture , you couldn't see the picture or the woman's expression, for example. The idea is great but it's not well executed. Now you also have some great shots in there, I like the well lit ones, but one of my favs was the one at 1:29 . Really nailed that shot!
