Ok Dave, let's be honest with each other.
First thing is who do you want to take notice and employ you???
I've watched your work and always liked it..
For me, first ideas are...
I like the edit better on the events stuff.
But seperate it from the other stuff, does not fit. Build up more stuff like it and then you can send that out on it's own.
All your other work has that quirky taste to it...and I like it...I loved the fish..and I was impressed with the b/w stuff before.
You gonna stick this on a site or a DVD??

I agree that the events stuff needs to be separated from the more experimental or "visual arts" stuff.
Here's my humble opinion:
1. Change the music, it is dragging way too much and is too whimsical.
2. You need to seriously edit your cuts, they are way too long and I mean waaaay too long. Make them count, have the audience wanting more, not less.
3. Use less of everything, less examples, more impact...
I see the potential in what you are doing but I really have to look hard. You don't want a demo to make people work, you want it to be in their face and wowed. Right now I'm just not feeling that.Films on Vimeo: http://www.vimeo.com/pinelakeflms/videos[/SIZE]

excellent points. Less is more.. Thanks! And a menu option wouldn't be bad, but I want a single reel to view at once... I'll think about re-organizing it...
