Thanks Hawk, roto is all done. It's the compositing and positioning now that's the timesuck. but it's looking pretty snazzy!

Ha! It's not too hard, Matt. It's basically just tracing...ish.

All of the effects on my first entry (Educated Mouse Trap ... another Keaton adventure) were roto'ed on.

Very cool, man! roto work = a sore back / neck. Be sure to stretch!

Damn Keaton and his scripts full of VFX you never expected! After Effects CS 5.5 makes it super easy. Their rotobrush is amazing and highly intelligent. No more neck breaking work!

All sound files OMF are off to the sound mixer, Mr Alan Chang. Much thanks to him for coming in at this late hour. He's one busy guy this DVXFest.

VFX shots all completed and not too shabby if I might say so myself... I might tweak here and there, but it's actually looking pretty damned good. I just had to figure out what it was that I really wanted to see... and then how I could pull that off with my available skillset. BUT I am definitely hiring a VFX guy next time before I even hire a single actor.

    Now on to the titles!

Not entirely happy with the titles. Might give it another go in the morning. Right now its time to render out Color Correction and VFX and see how much work I really have left tomorrow.
