And please don't say yes if you're a slacker that's going to bow out late in the game.
I want to get some accurate figures.

I'm hoping the excitement of "ScareFest" shows an increase in numbers.

I'm not going to say 'yes' myself until I know for sure.
Right now I'm pretty busy with other things but I hope to find some time down the road.

    In or Out?

In. Just getting my stuff together.

EDIT: Wait, I'm a slacker, but I don't plan on bowing out.

Yeah, I'm a slacker too so I probably won't know until October for sure.
Hopefully sooner if I get enough done on my other projects.

This is the toughest time to decide. Seems like there's enough time at the moment, then you look at the calender and realize you've just wasted a month. I promised after the last Fest that I would enter a film with no special effects, minimal locations and short running time. The two scripts I want to do offer none of the above except "Flare" which I just optioned from Anthony Todaro - it's short. Hope to do both, but hope doesn't always get the job done.

Don't do it... you'll just get blasted (needs more locations...some SFX....and it's WAY too short)!

Ha ha! Very true! A lot of people were saying that Zaza's last one was too short. Apparently he needed to shoot inside the club, show the guy she was hooking up with, their wedding, honeymoon, and when they open the trunk of the car to put their luggage in when they're leaving the airport there's a shot of the woman saying, "Ohhhh ... riiight," as she looks in the trunk.

... I'm working on a 10 second script for my next film! Soon they will be so short that if you blink, you'll miss it...genius!

I have a meeting with a buddy of mine on Wednesday that will determine whether I'm IN or OUT. If we can come up with a simple, yet intelligent story, that is SCARY, we'll do it. If not, we won't try to force it.

I haven't had anyone want one of my scripts so that says I'm out...unless that changes.
