Whatcha guys think? A good amount of preproduction planning on this one, and only 36 hours from shoot to final edit due. Shot Monday morning, delivered by 5pm Tuesday. Charter and Comcast local cable, specifically for Monday Night Football ESPN.
Overall, super happy. I'm really disappointed in FCP7 atm though. It's "color-grading" adds terrible banding, the gamma shift issues were frustrating and getting files in from After Effects isn't as easy as it should be. Alas, I think it may be time soon to move on....
As for the AF100, it was superb. Believe it or not, there was NO compositing in post. We accomplished these shots with a 16-50mm Tokina 2.8, a 70-200mm Tamron 2.8, a 77mm Polarizing filter, a few reflectors and a tiny crew. The sky gradients in the original AVCHD are UNBELIEVABLY good! Just wish I was working in FCPX or Premiere Pro to get the advantage of that.

I liked it, simple but effective. I don't know if its fcp7 that adds the banding after you grade, that sky is bad for any editor with AF100 8-bit footage after some grading.
