The AF100 has been approved by the BBC for acquisition, but the restriction is that you have to use an external 4:2:2 recorder. This was not intended to hi-jack the thread, but thanks for your feedback Barry. I think that at one point it would be good to see where American broadcasters stand along with the rest of Europe not just the BBC. Our national broadcaster in Canada likes to think it still is THE authority when it comes to standards but it like many others are not the major players they used to be where anything Sony was ok. Now as I work for producers and see how the deals are made on a world wide basis needed to secure funding for projects, being able to jump through everybody's hoops becomes more critical.
