As a basic rule,do we have to check all the fields in the ptool software as default and change those that are being recommended as patches? Because i just fill in the basic patches, for instance, the 65 kae's patch but left everything else unchecked.

Only change the stuff you're interested in manipulating, the rest will stay at the default settings without needing to be checked.

The only exception to this is on certain patches that will say in their description that they require other patches to also be checked, regardless of whether you change their value.
