the only bummer is: it seem that they won't be able to put a diopter in their system

Have you guys come up with a solution to an alternative to the P+S Technik Loupe for the TV Logic 056? I'm thinking it could work well with the Solid Camera VF mount. But I sure ain't paying $1,500 for a P+S loupe. I'd rather use a Hoodman with +4 reading glasses.

The answer is the Alphatron EVF. Same functionality as the TVLogic 5.6, but with an eyepiece...

Yes true, but i already have the TV Logic and the Alphatron would cost the same again. I read some mixed reports about the Alphatron, but will reserve final opinion until I get some good field reports.
