Hey all! First-time Scriptfester here.
I was looking for rules and whatnot, but couldn't find any aside from the absent father theme and the drama requirement. Are there any other requirements/restrictions applicable to scriptfest (ie: page count, formatting, poster guidelines, trailers, etc.).
Thanks a bunch, and sorry in advance if it's posted elsewhere and I missed it.

Just checked the first post and saw the page limits and pdf format. Can't believe I missed it the first time. Please disregard the above post.
Thanks.

Talk about a dead thread. Is anybody making any progress? I finished my rough draft and am ploughing through with revisions.

My rough draft is 85% done, just need to write the final scene.

I'm in, and have a rough draft written in a notebook. Just have to type it out and do some revisions. I think this is a great theme, much more inspiring than a genre.

Thanks! I'll try to come up with something for this one.

I've got the first 5 pages and it may end up much longer. I'm getting pulled in a bunch of different directions. When is this due?

Full disclosure: I have a script that has been sitting untouched for a few years (originally it was one of three stand-alone 30 minute stories that interconnected to make a feature length script). The project was never finished, but the first story 'The western way' was pretty strong so I adapted it to a shorter script to try to make a short film, again this project stalled. That short script is about 20 pages long.
Is it possible to adapt an old script for this competition? It was a fairly dark and dramatic story, with a big twist; and it should suit the theme here if I can whittle it down to 10 pages.
