K-3 Super 16mm Motion Pictures Camera

Hey all,
just received my 16mm motion pictures camera K-3. Modified myself to Super 16mm (what was extremely easy) and wuala. Of course its not a sound sync camera, but for film student it a GREAT introduction to 16/S16mm film. Perfect for some music vids or footage without sound. Very easy to use. Will post some videos soon.

Very cool man, I'm jealous. I've made it a goal of mine to own a S16mm camera at some point in my life. Not particularly because I want to shoot S16mm films (too expensive) but just because they're gorgeous machines and I like collecting cameras.



I just added this guy to my collection a couple weeks ago. It's a Canon 814 Super 8mm camera, and I've already shot a couple small projects on it. Love it.

@Finnegan, it seems that Steven Spielberg played with that camera in childhood. Very cool camera!
PS. S16mm film not that expensive here in London.

I shot this on a converted Super 16 K3 years ago.. I bought a hand crank off Ebay for the hand crank effect..
