Im planning to buy a shoulder mount for my hvx200, a redrock micro and it all goes for about 600$.
Is it worth the money buying a shoulder mount? Never used one before, but I know it doesn't stabilize the camera perfectly, as a glidecam would. But i'll be using it with a 35mm adapter.

You can go really expensive with rail extensions and shoulder pads, but I have a Varizoom VZ1... Works great and costs $1005D MK III | 1D Classic | Glidecam 4000 HD | Midas Mount Skaterail Slider | iMac i7 | Asus i7 | Production Premium CS5.5 | Logic Studio 9
Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 | 24-105 f/4 L | 135mm f/2 L | 100mm Macro f/2.8 | Canon 28mm f/1.8

I got an RigX_from_Express35 for my HPX170 and i love it.
I just upgraded it with the HD XL handle set for more stability and control.
But you should prefer the Offset Shoulder_Rig_HD
