teaser for school project. the project is for a final. its also a live broadcast shot in a studio. the teaser is part of the mandatory pre recorded par that must be rolled into the live-to-tape broadcast. (I wish I could take credit for the special effects, but target dog is the man )

Hey Lincoln Log,

Altogether the teaser is very engaging. Is the whole film going to be just gun fighting, or is there a plot? The effect rendered to the shotgun blast is great. Did your bud use AE? Also the scene with the girl lying on the ground seemed out of place, and the color didn't match the rest of the shots. Same out of place feeling with the guy throwing the girl up against the tree... the continuity/flow was off and distracted me a bit.

burst was done in photoshop then composited in final cut. same with smoke.

Same remark for the scene of Roooonnnda lying on the ground, too dark. Why not shoot 16:9.

I agree with the continuity problems... is it supposed to be a flash back of some sorts? The effects were very well done though, congrats!

that effect with the bullit hit looks really good. I think"and this is just my style" that the shot of her lying on the groud needs a touch of goldish light on the top right side of her face. just to warm it up a bit...im not sure if this is possible this late in the game...
