Well, the installers for our storm shelter are here installing it in our garage. After this past May / June and the tornado outbreaks, and with a new child in our lives, it seemed like the right decision. Hopefully we'll never have to use it. But if we do, it'll be there.

An in ground beer cooler, I'm impressed.

But, where's the bathroom wing?

How does that thing lock shut?
I mean in the movies that's always the weak link.
Sweet bonus you can work under a car easier now as well.
Of course with no other way out ya gotta trust the other guy who parks the car above you
to actually MOVE it when you're done.

Pookie, I'm going to have to get a loan for that wing. As for it being a beer cooler ... well, there is a lock and key for a reason!
Rippie, it just slides shut and locks. Those two "claws" you see on the last picture latch it shut. You can then open it again from the inside with an attached handle. From the outside, there's a detached handle that opens the latch in that pops into that middle square (it's doubling as a hand rail in the picture above it). I hadn't even thought about working on the car from there.

The best $3500 purchase (that I hope I never have to use)
