I'm thinking that, given FCP X and FCS 3 cannot run at the same time (and Apple suggests NOT putting them on the same partition), that I'm going to create a separate boot drive (or partition) for Lion and put FCP X, Motion 5, Compressor 4 on THAT, while keeping FCS 3 running under Snow Leopard -- at least for a while.
I doubt I'll even purchase the new FCP X suite until after Lion ships.
Im concerned that many other things will fail when Rosetta goes away in Lion, so I don't see myself doing a sweeping upgrade right away.
What do you think and what is your own strategy vis a vis FCP X. Or is it to migrate to Adobe CS 5.5 Production Pro suite -- or something else?
