I spent 11 nights traveling around Turkey, starting in Istanbul and going through Ankara, Antalya, Cappadocia, Bursa, Ephesus, and back to Istanbul. Most nights we were in a different city, and downloading images on the road with little sleep. I shot about 6,000 photos and 300 video clips– I hope to have the video cut in about a month or so– below are some of the photos.

Those are some nice pictures man! Some of my favorites are the night shots. Was this a personal sight seeing trip?

they look good Mike. How did you like your Induro CT014 tripod with Manfrotto head? Was it enough for the 70-200 lens?

The head was solid, and a bit clunky at times. The legs held up, but I could see some bend in them. Definitely go for something a bit more sturdy if you can deal with the weight and size.

I was asked to do somework in Turkey myself a couple years ago and it was a pretty nice experience. While there, there were days where the sun was extremely bright and the challenge was always over exposure. The great thing about it was that the camera I brought along (a Panasonic HPX170 since I was shooting video) had built in ND Filters so they saved my skin a lot of times.
With that said, I purchased a camera to shoot stills (Sony DSLR) and found that the ND's I bought for it while in Turkey never gave me the results I was looking for.
Out of all your gear I don't see any ND's. What did you use when you were in Ephesus or Cappadocia for example?

11 nights traveling around Turkey. Canon 7D.
