    HVX200 (NTSC) Brochure

I also found a link to the PAL version (HVX200E) on Google, hosted on the Panasonic Japan web site. There is no mention of 1080P in the PAL PDF. Begin a PAL user, I hope this doesn't mean what I think it means...

Take a look at the exact same paragraph from each PDF:

What?! Gabriel Costache from Panasonic New Zealand has written, that there will be 1080/25p. Look at this: http://www.dvxuser.com/V3/showthread.php?t=24073. I hope, he has not made a mistake.?

    Come on, guys,
the notion of "25p and 50p" does NOT exclude 1080.
One is the framerate the other one the resolution. So,
please, don't get nervous and "read the coffee mug"
as we say over here in Old Europe.

But, anyway, I think I am getting the NTSC version instead. I really don't like the PAL specs.

But I guess, it all has to do with the fact that HD isn't as popular in Europe as it is in the US.

    Let's just wait and see.

    All the best
