    SCRIPT FEEDBACK GUIDELINES

Writing is hard. It’s a very personal and humbling thing to do. It’s an activity that you do alone and because of it we take our work and criticism of it very personally.

That said, the only way we can get better is with honest feedback. So, a few guidelines to help things proceed smoothly:

    1. Be honest but use tact when giving people feedback. Don't start your feedback out with "Your script sucks."

    2. Be specific. Let people know what you like, and let them know what didn’t work for you. It doesn’t help someone to simply say you don’t like something, but it does help them when you’re specific and say “I’m not sure what your main character wanted in X scene.” Or, “I didn’t understand your character because I didn’t know enough about him.” Or, “I didn’t understand your story logic, for X/Y/Z reasons.”

    3. Reading / Feedback period will be two weeks. Voting will close on the 9th of June and winners will be announced then.

Happy reading and rating of scripts.

    Isaac

Ok, it looks like my file didn't work. Where can I send a corrected one?

Figures... finally, my chance to have a script in the top ten, and I couldn't get one written...

Guess I was too late trying to get mine in.
I'll still be sure to read them and comment. Good luck, gang!

What happened to some of the scripts? They're no longer on the read page.

I just noticed this in the top post "Voting will close on the 9th of June and winners will be announced then." I can't vote on these thought, right? Wondering maybe I'm doing something wrong that I can't see the way to vote...
