Great location. That shot looks really dramatic.

Thanks guys. We waited FOREVER to get that train going that direction!! Cast got heat stroke just waiting and it put us about 2 hours behind when all was said and done. Had to bail on some other shots that hopefully we can fill in.
It is a Jib shot starting high that folllows them down that concrete slope and watches them make their escape. Looks nice and you cant beat having a train barreling through the shot right next to the actors.
I will post some more grabs through out the week and have the BTS up by thursday hopefully.
Hope you are all having as much fun as we are!

No TAKE TWO on that shot! Risky with a jib, you must have a solid crew behind this project. Looks terrific.

Well my crew was solid....but not because of experience
none of us have any real film making experience. We done one other short and it only involved Eric and myself. The 2 lead actresses are first time actors. the guy helping with the Jib in this shot is Kevin...my Lead male actor..not a real actor either . Co-director and sound guy Eric Brandle in the background there.

This was my first time using a JIB ever...it's a Kessler Pocket Jib that i received the day before! haha!

That's great...too bad you're not around here (upstate NY)... I live in a 'train town' and just about every 15-20 minutes there's a train rolling through. One of our ex-mayor's asked the companies if they could stop blowing the horn so much as they go through town, so what happened? They now lay on it extra just because!

Really looking forward to your film.

Could this be our Villain in pursuit??

Guess you will have to watch the film and find out

Shot some additional footage today and really getting deep into the edit. So fun to remove a boompole shadow out of 130 frames of rapidly moving action sequence...haha!!
