    Thumbs up
OHMYGAWD! I almost had a heart attack.

Uncompressed BlackMagic 10bit recorder for $345
Records on standard SSD - SDI & HDMI in- and outputs.

With a compact and incredibly sturdy design, HyperDeck Shuttle is machined out of a solid block of aircraft grade aluminum! That means you get a design with the strength to go anywhere! Take your HyperDeck Shuttle into the field, on set, to live events, or even on your extreme sport shoots. With an internal battery, just recharge and go! The possibilities are virtually endless! There’s no need to haul around a computer because the lightweight HyperDeck Shuttle does it all, yet fits easily in your backpack! You can even add HyperDeck Shuttle to your tripod along with your camera! Simply plug in a 2.5” solid state disk into HyperDeck Shuttle and you get video recording with blazing fast speed, low power consumption and totally silent operation. Now you can eliminate complicated and expensive disk arrays. A single SSD can record uncompressed video effortlessly!
    Now we are talking.

Yup - saw this a few minutes ago... it also looks like it covers all flavours of HD signal over HD-SDI & HDMI (which is also 1.4) so maybe the first out of the block for Sony's TC over HDMI?

The studio version (with LCD) looks very nice too.

Doesn't seem to come with a drive, but still... This will sell about a bazillion units.

PR indicated uncompressed QT compatible movies.

Just wondering what the data storage requirements would be for 1080/24p.

I wonder if it allows passthrough so you can use an HDMI field monitor at the same time.

Found the answer by looking at the ports on the back.
