Ok, so I was offered to do a job for a client over the weekend. Basically, I have 2 DVD's (each one almost 2 hours in length) with their respective VOB files. I need to be able to edit these files and return them to a "normal" DVD format.

Is there a way to do this with Avid Xpress Pro? I'm open to any suggestions from anyone.

Right now, I only have a DVD100A (MiniDV) camera for a deck. I know about the Mojo solution, unfortunately they seem to be unavailable at the moment.

    Thanks,

First you should convert the vob files to an acceptable avid file.
    Like avi.
Look in goggle for an aplication. There is a lot of them for free.
    DVD2AVI 1.86, for example.

And then edit the material and use another program to get them back to mpeg2 file. (tmpeg or procoder... up to you)...
I guess you know this part...

Travis, thanks for the tip. I actually tried converting the VOB files to MPEG2 & AVI. The problem is that the video & audio went out of sync. I tried multiple times, multiple ways - always the same out-of-sync result. I used Power Video Converter. I'm going to try the one you recommended (and some others).
