hey thats fine. i just threw out a date anyways. are you enrolled in production program there? im at northlake college in irving, but next semester i will be at unt. hopefully, if i pass this class.

well, i am a rtvf major, BUT i'm not in the major yet. this school (like many other schools) take students into the major by what their GPA is. i'm pissed! i wish a school would just take me in regarding my skill, not my GPA. i swear once i'm in those classes i'd do well, i mean it's what i want to do. sucks they judge how i do in my other classes to deny me to get into the major!!!! ARRRGHHHH! vent vent vent....anyways.

yea thats sucks! thats the same way it is a univ of north texas. do you own a dvx. im getting mine within the next month or so. i want to get into music videos and doing short narratives. have you had any other training besides at tcu?

yah, i own a dvx and i love it. training? bah, i'm self taught, but i think i do very well for not taking any 'real' training. filmmaking has always been a passion of mine ever since i was in middle/elementary school. i guess you can say it comes naturally.

i cant wait until i get my dvx. when i get it i will be shooting some shorts/ music vid's to build a nice reel. do you have your own editing equip.? i will be editing on premeir most likely. that's if i can't get the g4 powerbook to cut on fcphd.

no, i don't have my own editing equipment. i wanna work my butt off this summer so i can afford a G5 with fcpHD. that's what i'm hoping for.

yea that g5 dual is so nice! so what do you do with your dvx since you have no nle. only reason im asking is b/c i will not have a editing equipment, when i get my dvx. im probably gonna try and get premier, avid, or vegas on my pc. but that will be like 1 or 2 months after i get the dvx. so in the mean time, i will just be out filming stuff, and getting used to the camera.
