First, a big thank you to everyone who took the time to make and enter a film. Regardless of the outcome, it is definitely a huge achievement just to get that far. Many start the journey, but few complete it. So hats off to those of you who completed and entered.

We've enjoyed the films and appreciate the effort that was put into creating them.

And now, without further ado, here are your top 6 finalists (in alphabetical order):

    • Face of Fear - Mr Blue
    • No Horizon - Matt Harris
    • On Our Terms - Matthew B
    • Sente Sente - AJ Brooks
    • The Rook Moves - Shawn Philip Nelson
    • WILL - lyonfilms

Congratulations to everyone who entered... and best of luck to the finalists... Remember, you are rating each film individually. This is a star system.. it is not a ranking system. You can have 3 films a 7, two as a 6, four as an 8... whatever... just think of it like putting stars on a video at youtube.

You can view and rate the films you haven't yet rated that are on the finalists list using the same url as before....

Rating for round 2 will continue until March 24th.

WOW! I'm almost appalled that "Everything Is Better" didn't make the finals. Best of Fest for me.

....which, if anyone is interested, is as follows:

    #1 Sente Sente
    favorite bit of dialogue: N/A (& *N/N*)

    #2 On Our Terms
favorite bit of dialogue: "...It wasn't the height I was scared of. Well...when we stopped at the top, I was petrified. We just set there rocking. I tried all day to find the right time...and I knew this was my last chance..."

    #3 Face of Fear
favorite bit of dialogue: [possible-spoiler] "I don't want to hear this. Just leave. Close the door." [/possible-spoiler]

PS- As an aficionado of the Twilight Zone...Face of Fear, albeit an homage to the tone and feel of the show, is not derived from ANY episode.

    *not necessary*
