Dark - if you've been reading the banter between ZaZa and I it's all skin and lace - ha ha.
I think you can have a weapon and no one dies, but to have the requirement that "no one will die" in the fest I think is intriguing. Go to any film festival and watch the first series of short films, there are more deaths here than in the entire Malibu Film Festival I went to where there was only one violent scene. So maybe as a group we use death as a crutch.

I think a no death fest is a great idea, would probably lead to some very creative filmmaking.

Noel - "Chasing Kangaroos" is a great example of how you can drive a story without the death crutch. Cool flick.
