Man this camera is so clean...on a DVD especially the noise in that shot will practically disappear it's so fine.

and notice the resolution out to 800 lines, even at 6400 ISO!

Usually the noise smudges up the definition. Not here....

BUT, if you crank up to 6400 ISO and you still cant reach a proper exposure level, the image falls apart quickly. But if youre at 6400 and youre trying to shoot a scene on an F3, you probably should have bought a cheaper camera and some lights.

The project I am doing sound for at the moment is using 2 F3s. I am really impressed with the camera.
We were doing interviews in a Casino hotel room with minimum lighting and the picture quality is AMAZING.
The director is an OSCAR winner and he did tests with both Red and the F3.
In the end he decided to use the F3.

I got up close and personal with an F3 here at South by Southwest. I want it, especially the package that comes with the PL mount primes.

The only problem with the F3 is that audio controls are in a very bump able spot. I had to tape some Mole skin over the controls.

The f3 is so much lighter than a RED. thats its real advantage. it doesn't seem like much, but being able to do a job w/ two people instead of 3 is a big deal.
