BTS requirement was a great idea. It's a fun way to meet the filmmakers and see their craft.
I vote the requirement be taken a step further -- director's/cast/crew commentary, interactive "dvd menu" type games, voice dubs for at least three foreign languages...

I think something you all are forgetting is the economy. A couple of years ago when things were going well here in the States, you saw a lot more entries because people still had good paying day jobs. They could afford tossing out $1k just for catering. Now, our present economy, tossing out money to cater, permits or costumes isn't quite feasible for some.
I think the economy has had a lot to do with the lack of large numbers in this fest. As things go on the upswing I think you will see a return of larger numbers.
Good luck to everyone. Look forward to watching your stuff later tonight. I have to get busy and write articles today."Imagination is more important than knowledge." - Albert Einstein

Ditto.
You can make movies on the cheap if you really want to make one. It's really about the experience and fun of creating something.
Thanks to everyone behind the scenes on this Fest. Special shout out to Noel for being quite helpful over the course of it.
Thanks, guys.
