Just a quick vid I put together from a trip last summer. I travel a lot with my job so sometimes I get to take my family along. This is some casual stuff from one of our trips to Santa Cruz and Capitola on the California coast.
Shot on an EX1 (duh!), primarily with the Sony .8x wide angle adapter, all handheld except a couple sailboat shots. I follow my boys around a LOT with my camera, ha ha!

Nice stuff. That version of "Over the Rainbow has been on my list of songs to use with slomo footage of my kids, too. A few of the cuts felt abrupt. But man, those kids can run and you kept it very steady.

Thanks Jordan. I love the song although it's pretty overused and sorta cliche, but I don't tire of it. I agree about some abrupt cuts, editing is something I don't do much and I don't know FCP very well, but some longer dissolves between cuts would've smoothed things out a bit. I had way more clips than the music allowed so I think I tried to cram too much stuff in there, ha ha! I've chased my kids around so much now with my EX1 that my arm has become half-stabilizer. I do have a couple stabilzers (Glidecam 4000 and Blackbird) but I haven't used them much yet and this was not a 'production' so I just carried my camera as we walked (and ran) around the beach.
