    Battery advice?

I was looking at using the 96w batteries that are popping up on ebay and listed on B&H. It looks ideal to power the cam plus a KiPro considering they have a powertap. Maybe not ideal for handheld but otherwise it seems ok. It says they will charge with the stock charger too.

On ebay they are popping up for around $190 but are a different brand, although feedback ratings look good.

    Any opinions?

Those are great for the EX-3, but the F-3 is a 4 pin. That has the small EX-3 power pin. I'd call them and see if they are working towards a 4 pin for the F-3 or an adapter to go to 4 pin.
On a EX, one of those suckers will last half the day.

All those Swit batteries have a D-Tap (Anton Bauer Power Tap connector) on them as well. If you have one of these cables...

... you can get this to work. You will have that EX3 cable dangling but otherwise the battery will work.

I've made some pro cables in the past and it doesn't seem like too big a deal to put a 4pin on there in place of that little plug. (Why does it need more than 2 pins for power anyway?)

I've been told it doesn't need 4 pins but it keeps you from confusing power XLR cables from 3 pin mic XLR cables.

That Marshall cable is way over priced. There's nothing special about those power cables. I've seen them as low as $18. Here its $22 including shipping.
