    nice shots man. Way to hit that exposure properly. That's really the key element with the af100. I think there is about a stop and a bit of leeway, but you need to really hit it.

    "One stop and a bit " can mean over twice as much ... or ... under half as much light that you want at a given " point" in your image tone (levels).

    Tell me how that is "leeway" as opposed to a lack of control in exposure technique?

    they have a lovely kodachrome look.

    and that's what I feel shooting with panasonic cams is like,
    sticking a good ole roll of kodachrome and having a really narrow exposure to play with.

    It's a disciplined way of shooting with transparency film, takes more exposure technique. Up to a stop over or under and it was pretty much a duff exposure.
    add in your standard 1/3rd stop under for sunny climes...

    all very similar tecniques to those required for controlling highlights on the AF101.

    Id have to agree with you 100%. I think youve given the best analogy and deserve this 4 week old can of pfeffernusse.
