I'm setting up some work with a client producing some digital signage content at 4096x1824.
We have produced some test samples at 4k just to make sure we had a work flow and file that we could deliver and that would play on their systems at 4k.

These are going to be 30 second to 3min clips all motion graphics/3D.

The question is do you charge extra for 4k file delivery? If so how much?

    Thanks.

It costs what it costs. What you charge your client should be based on the time you estimate it will take to complete the job. Obviously the render times for creating 4K content will be far greater than the time to create the same content in SD. Factor that into your estimate and you should be good to go.
