impatiently waiting for Bandpro (where I pre-order) or there for ANY authorized dealer to give a solid date for the camera... Till then I figured this would be nice to see all the others out there who pre-ordered just waiting like I am. And anything you'd like to talk about such as maybe your first indented projects you'll use it for?

Pre-ordered at BandPro as well, but considering DVW or B&H to save tax.

I don't think there will be much warning when things start to move (which, they already have for Sony Canada). Based on what is going around, I think the first will trickle out literally any day now.

Good News, Got an email from Sony. PMW-F3s are being allocated to Dealers today for the month of February. Wish we would be getting more, but I expect more bigger shipments next month.

And for ProRes workflows, Ki Pro minis are shipping too! Received some yesterday, sent all of them out yesterday for pre-orders.

Guys - I've been on e-mailing EC Pro today (they're who I'm preordered with), and just wanted to clarify - "allocated" does not mean dealers have received cameras. EC Pro doesn't know when Sony will finish Quality Assurance and ship to dealers from their stateside warehouse. Target date seems to be mid February, which to me, means next week.

I'm also under the impression that PMW-F3K units are scarcer than just the body - PMW-F3L. Or, perhaps there are just more orders for the kit, and therefore they can't all get filled as quickly.

Really, I'm getting the feeling we're not going to see the camera until at least early next week.

Update: JUST got a call from BandPro, the camera will be shipping to me next week from California, oh and yes I made the first batch

So I guess I'll be playing with it within the next 10-12 days or so.
