Interesting. I made my deposit on Nov 29th, and I was just told that I won't get a camera from this week's shipment, but that hopefully there will be another shipment next week that cover my order.

got mine about a week and a half ago and am having a good time with it. using the cinevate follow focus (which attaches to only one rod and swings out of the way quickly) and their swingout mattebox has made switching lenses painless on a fast-paced shoot. very happy with those purchases. the camera is a dream and has drawn a curious eye from fellow filmmakers stumbling across us at work here in park city. having a blast with it.

Nice stuff, Zak. Mind if I inquire as to what lenses and ISO were used as well as whether you shot with the AF100 codec or used a nanoflash or Ki pro.

    Thanks,

    Forrest

All exterior shots were 400 ISO with a 135mm lens. Interiors (Day and Night) were also 400ISO but with a 24mm and an 85mm for the sleeping shot. No external recorder, all AVCCAM codec. added mild grain in post.

zac, would you happen to have any pics of your setup. for me, my nikon 50 1.4 is short, so the gear box of the durus hits the body, im very close to the gear. even getting the drive gear close to the front of the camera was hard with the baseplate in the way, though thats due to the small size of the camera (i didnt flip the gear, that way it sticks out too much). i talked to the good people at cinevate, very nice and helpful, measured out and the large drive gear and it should reach for shorter lenses to not hit the body (iris dial) so i think ill have my situation fixed. just curious as to how you have it setup. thanks
