Hi guys,
This video was shot on Canon 7D and a Sony XDCAM EX1.
Absolutely no budget, all friends and familiy.
Work done in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, PfTrack and Cinema4d.
I'm an absolute novice in 3d work, so I had to learn A LOT ;-)
Lots of mistakes, but it was a freebee, so I guess you get what you get.
Check it out ;-)

Bump!
Feel free to comment - I value comments as I learn from all your input in the past!
Again ZERO money put in to this project; all work done by yours truly.
Let me know what you think (good or bad) ;-)
Cheers,
Christian.

I never understood why people feel the need to mention "this project" had zero budget. The viewers and fans don't care if you spent 1 million dollars or 1 dollar, all they care about is if it's entertaining.
With that said I see a lot of things in this video that required money just to make this happen, so please stop saying there was zero budget.
Finally regarding the actual video I liked it and thought it was pretty good, might not be MTV ready but you are on the rite track, keep working hard

life4eva,
Thank you for your comments. Greatly appreciated.
The reason I mention "no budget", is due to the fact that I spend a lot of time to make this video look, as if it had a budget (and hereby I mean a decent budget). Of course I already had the cameras, a jib-arm and two lights, but thats it. I thought it might be of value to the expected critique I was hoping to receive, as I was expecting both criticism for entertainment value as well as for my technical work and skills.
In any case, could you elaborate a bit more - if you would be so kind - so give a few hints as how to make it "MTV ready". I do want to pick your brain, as it is very hard to get constructive critique from other sources - and here I'm referring to family and friends, so really - anything would be appreciated ;-)
Cheers,
Christian.

The only thing I think you need for that MTV look is more lighting, as to me it looks to dark. Especially the color grading is a bit on the heavy side. The video and song work and I think you have a great project here, the only knock IMO is the color grading and not enough light. I would double the amount of light you had or triple it so you would never have to go above iso 400 and ease off a bit on the grading. Regardless I think it's a good project that could be better with some more work.
ps. Not one outside shot either, I think every video should have at least 1 outside shot.
