I just purchased a shoulder mount system from http://westsideavstore.com/ . Unfortunately with the plate and wing attached it won't fit in my EX1-molded StormCase. It doesn't easily dismantle without removing little screws which could easily be lost when I'm out shooting an event or whatever.

I've been thinking about getting a airplane carry-on case for awhile now so I guess it's time to kill two birds with one stone. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've been looking at stuff from Porta Brace and CineBags...

    Narrowed it down to these:

    Porta Brace CTC3B

    Kata HB-207 GDC Hiker Backpack

Anyone have experience with the Camera Daddy? That looks like it would fit all my stuff nicely but it looks too big to be allowed as carry-on.

I traveled the globe with this one:

It fits EX1 with Genus Matte Box and rails + RR FF... ANd has room for all other stuff on the other end...

Thanks Tata! As per http://www.luggageonline.com/about_airlines.cfm it looks like that would work for most airlines.

When I do travel I think I'll carry-on with the camera/batteries/charger (and any other essentials) and check the rest with the Storm case. Or ship the stuff a few days ahead of time

I use the Kata 193. Fits the EX1 perfectly AND will easily fit in the over-head storage or under the seat. I love it.
