well, it would be interesting if you could actually download original file to watch uncompressed. Really it's more like first impressions, then a real professional reviews. Besides after fiasco of HM100 reviews from early tester models (by Dashwood and Bloom) I don't really trust them anymore. Anyone receiving a pre-production model is in bed with whichever company they represent, so objectivity takes the back seat.
I also laughed looking at the caption of "pushing the boundaries of cold weather filming". Unless it's -30F and blowing and your LCD is freezing you are not pushing cold weather boundaries at all. People should have a little reality check before posting a bunch of hype.

Showbiz is actually all about hype. Movies especially.

I can assure you none of us are in bed with panasonic, we are actually all freelance Camera Operators, DPs & Editors who shoot & edit real things day in day out.

Yves makes his living shooting Sony XDCAM HD on a PDW700 & also owns a 5D2.. I own and operate an EX1, HVX202 & 7D and make a living from that.

The cold weather caption is a joke and serious at the same time. NZ was the coldest place the AF100 had been so far.. and when we hit a wind chill of 0 degrees C we started having operational issues with the prototype.

Sorry we cant give you original files, but thats just the way it goes.

Wow, such vitriol. You don't get invited to too many parties, do you?

Thanks for the reality check robertrogoz .

Now back to more important things.

    The camera LOOKS AMAZING!

I think I may need to pre-order mine at B&H because this camera is going to be sold out real quick.

I love my HMC-150 but I definitely can see that I will love the AF100 even more!

    Great review Joe!

    Simon
