This was a sort of promo/recap of an open day held by a local Railway Society:
Shot entirely with the HMC41, edited with Premiere Pro CS5.
I stuffed up a little on the handheld work, forgetting to turn on the optical image stabiliser on the camera. I was able to rescue most of it using Prodad's Mercalli. This also helped a lot on the shots inside the train, which was a pretty rough ride. I'm sure the stabilisation could be improved, but this was a rushed job and I ran out of time.
Handheld work is pretty much everything from 02:45-03:46, all the interior train shots and some of the close-ups too. Mercalli did a very good job considering. The weather was very changable, which lead to some inconsistency with lighting.
The workshop tour (03:12-03:46) was very dark for the inside shots. I used the camera at 12db gain and am pretty pleased with the results. I only had to give up inside an old carraige where the light was below candle-light level. This is primarily why I'm posting this video here.
Next time I will try to remember to press the OIS button! One more thing to check...

Who can resist a good, old train story. Very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing.

Cool!!! I'm a train fan myself, so I'm so busy looking at the train, I would never notice anything, but the train. I loved the video.

Bob, Dan, thank for the kind words again!
Sort of off-topic, note the nice big US-built 1960s GM diesel there, in the orange and black livery!

Mike,
I hope you won' mind my slipping one of my videos into your thread. These are the trains I play with, they're a bit smaller.
This was one of the first few videos I did with the HMC40.
