Hello, I may be getting an XL2 in the next couple of days but am concerned about transferring the footage to my computer. I know it's not good to use the camera itself for the transfer, but I'm pretty sure the VTR I have, the sony GV-HD700, isn't going to be able to capture the XL2's 24p.

So. How does everyone else capture? I've heard of people buying crummy consumer cameras for a few hundred just for the tape decks, but I'm assuming a crummy consumer camera won't be able to read the XL2's 24p either. So confused!

Any help is greatly appreciated.
