I won't be running a WIP but this is what I ended up with (down sized a bit). I didn't plan it out, it sort of grew out of another project, and I wanted to do something retro vintage. My other one didn't quite come together in time but maybe for next fest.
I thought about adding search lights on the sides of this one but chose to keep it visually as simple as possible instead.
So, I don't know. That's what I've got this time anyways.

Post a grab if you want Tom and anyone else, or run a WIP maybe.

I'll post an upload link in this thread sometime next week also.

Very cool. Like an old Paramount leader...

I finished with the texturing tonight and, well, each frame is taking a while to render, so I spent a little time and setup Back Burner, which is Autodesk's render farm setup. After trying to work out the details, I've now got a small (3 pc) render farm setup, which will hopefully cut my render significantly...

Anyway, here's a frame from my leader. I still need to bring it into Nuke and tweak the colors, add a touch of motion blur, etc... but I think I'm good with the shader setup.
