Well for all those Sony users waiting for an integrated answer to HDV inside the Adobe app itself...
    http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...atform=Windows

This is definately good news. *I hope that it's a solid tested version that works... time will tell. *If it is, this can only increase the Sony HDV buzz as the workflow for many Premiere users is now here... today!!... right in the app.

If you have a PC and want the new Panasonic, you might as well start learning to use a mac! *HDV looks like it could dominate the PC platform... and potentially the Mac OS as well.... someone mentioned something about "was Panasonic upset" cause Steve was using the new Sony at the Apple show... *I'm wondering about this... cause I think they should be. *Apple will do what they want, and now it seems it's suck up to Sony time. *They released FCP and basically told Adobe and Premiere to fly a kyte... I hope they don't snubb the new HD Panasonic cam cause they are being buddy buddy to Sony. *I want to try the HDX or whatever on a mac (or PC...wishful thinking) the day it comes out so I hope the workflow just works when the cam is released... unlike what has happened with the Sony.

Oh well, Adobe editing is finally here... finally!! *(HD start to finish almost a reality)... Go Blue Ray Go... *;D

    ???

How does one negate the other (no DVCPRO-HD on a PC)?

I think you read waaaaaaaaaaaay too much into this.
