I am so glad that I did not purchace this BDS at the new price. It is great to have. But like Rippie said it is WWAAAAAAYY over priced for what it is. Although you can provide power to multiple pieces of equipment from one battery the batteries and cahrger is extremely expensive. You have to search for these used.
*EDIT* You don't save money using it but you can save your client some money on expendibles. But it will pay for itself in the long run.

I've heard DVD batteries mentioned on the taperssection forum a few times...

Wow this BDS has been plugged in for over 8hr and 36 minutes and is still going. I think this was a really wise investment.

Cedric when you say BDS are you talking about the Remote Audio BDS?
Or are you talking about a particular battery?

Sorry I mean the used Aspen battery. It is an Ni-MH battery. I did not know what to expect from a used battery, especially since it was not a rechargeable Li-Ion.
