So I want to submit "Stupendous: The Movie" (anybody remember it?) to Sundance this year, but here's the thing: As I'm filling out the submission form online I see that the only exhibition formats available are 16mm, 35mm, HDCAM NTSC 2, & HDCAM PAL 3. My film was shot on Standard Def, not HD. How would/should I go about exhibiting it?

You would have to Up-Rez the film. Several ways to do this; either a tape transfer digibeta up to hdcam or use software to do it. Look at red giant software for their InstantHD package. Or you could export to tiffs and get Photoshop to resample each frame to 1920x1080 with the bicubic interpolation.

Of course that's not to submit, that's just if they decide to exhibit your film. You have lots of time to worry about that. For now you just submit a DVD+R or DVD-R.
