Oooooh just a bit more info about the film for anyone interested. So Brightly in the Dark is the first of a series of celtic inspired modernist short films, based on a project manifesto called the Uabhas Mythos (which can be downloaded here) http://tinyurl.com/393lfa8
A number of directors and writers are working with me to realise the project, (theres a facebook group, or you can add me Lawrie Brewster for further help) and soon there will be a website.
The next film ill be shooting, is actually a Chris Keeaaaaton script - The Changeling Son, and for those of you who like my partner Sarah's music, heres an albeit rough recorded, but still beautiful/dark lullaby recorded for it.

Hey there Darkline! Oh if your having trouble with the download ive added some jpgs with the info below! You can catch me on facebook (Lawrie Brewster) if you'd like to get involved - (as are other directors and writers interested in the subject matter)
Yep I get what your saying with me tackling these fests differently! I mean my experience with online voted fests is that they tend to reward more mainstream/genre/slick but conservative efforts while many inty fests with judges etc its the exact opposite.
So i just do my own thing really! The only time i really aimed intentionally to win a fest (an online one) was a Fox TV for new tv shows which we landed in the top 8 out of thousands my god lol, but when your hearts not in a particular form of storytelling why bother.
