Just decided to go with the Sennheiser K6/ME66 for my DVX100, to begin with anyway. I'll also get a wireless lav.
But as the K6/ME66 is rather long i wonder if you guys who use the ME66 mount it? In the original mount or do you get another one?
With a Rycote on its hard NOT to get it in the wider image and due to its weight it kind of hangs a bit ...
Any tips?

Get a pistol grip or boom pole.
If you want it to mount onto the camera, you can jerry rig a height extender.

Here is what I recommend:
PSC Universal Shock Mount small
Sennheiser 3/8" to 5/8" thread adapter (part number mza216)
AKG hotshoe adapter (part number km231/1)
This will allow you to mount the mic on the top of the camera. The cool thing is you can use this mount on a boom pole as well. Avoid putting a pistol grip on your camera. It adds un-needed weight and bulk.
