I've got an inexpensive AT300 wireless lav system that has a 1/4" output jack from the base station. In the past, I've used a 1/4" male to male cable with a 1/4" to mini adapter to connect to the GL2 I used to shoot with. What is the best way to connect this mic to the DVX? Can I use the same 1/4" male to male cable with an xlr adapter, or do I need to purchase a new cable?
Also, If I need a new cable, does it need to be balanced or not?
