I am seriously considering obtaining a 5D MKII and am doing research. I've done a forum search here and wasn't able to find the answer.
Can someone tell me how many minutes of 1080p footage will fit per Gb of CF card space?

    Thanks in advance.

    Best,

The last time I checked it worked out to like 48 minutes per 16GB card.

    Anybody here good at math?

roughly, 3 min per gig. 4 gig = roughly 12 min, your recording limit for a single clip. give or take a few seconds to a minute. depending on how much detail is in the shot.

Correct, roughly 3min per GB. Shooting 24p rather than 30p as well as having audio disabled, both increase you recording time.

Shooting at low ISOs also increase your recording time.
